What is a Venn Diagram?

A Venn diagram is made up of two or more overlapping circles. The "overlap" area denotes a relationship between the circles.

Venn Diagram Example

The use of a Venn Diagram to compare or contrast ideas or objects allows students to understand relationships between those ideas/objects.
