What is a VIP (Biography) Story?
Students write a narrative describing a Very Important Person in their life, then select 3-4 pictures to illustrate the narrative.
Advantages for use in the classroom:

Students are eager to put their own personal perspective on a VIP

VIPs are usually family members where access to photos is not a problem.
Disadvantages for use in the classroom:

Students who choose ancestral VIPs or distant relatives may not have access to pictures.
- Images for historical figures must be taken or drawn by the student rather than copied from the web, so students must seek out statues, etc., that may be difficult to acquire.
