What is a Linklist?
According to Dictionary.com, a hotlist is a “collection of favorite or frequently used Web sites of those about a specific topic, also bookmarks, favorites, also written hot list.” (See Teacher Resource HotList for a sample of a hotlist.) A Linklist is a specialized hotlist; Linklists are annotated and relevant to specific topic of research (See Kathy Shrock’s Subject Guide to the Internet Linklist).
